Claude Opus 5.5, day one
Anthropic released Claude Opus 5.5 on September 22, 2026. A day later, a carousel appeared showing fifteen things people had built with it: games, short films, interactive explainers and 3D scenes.
Here are all sixteen slides, remade and reworded.
-
01 Launch
Day one, and the builders are already out
Opus 5.5 shipped on September 22. By the next day, people were sharing games, films and tools they say it made, often from a single prompt. Fifteen of them follow.

02 Interactive explainer
See exactly where a lens puts its focus
A 3D bench takes a camera lens apart piece by piece and follows the light through it. Pick foreground, middle or background, change the aperture, and the sharp plane moves through a little scene of trees and a cabin. Reportedly built in one shot.
-
03 Short film
An entire animated short film
A small paper creature walks in, and the film then passes through a firing neuron, a spiral of colored strands, a flock of particles and a black hole ringed by a glowing disk. The whole video is reportedly Opus 5.5's work.
-
04 Animation
A paper-cut storybook drawn in code
A girl writes at a lit window under the stars while a smiling sun sends paper planes over the rooftops. It looks like torn paper and pencil, but every frame is reportedly JavaScript.
-
05 Game
The Minecraft test, inside a browser tab
Lumen Vale is a block world with sun shadows, drifting clouds, clear water and a full day-night cycle. Sliders set the time, the sky and the world seed, and you can still build. Reportedly the most impressive LLM result its poster had seen.
-
06 Game
Dive down to the first computer
Greece, 1901: sponge divers spot bronze fragments on the seabed. You descend in a brass helmet, bring the pieces up and fit the gears together to see how the Antikythera mechanism followed the Sun and Moon and predicted eclipses. Reportedly generated procedurally in real time.
-
07 Game
A castle crawl in the Dark Souls mood
The Ashen Gate opens on a glowing title, then drops an armored knight into a sunbaked stone fortress of arches, battlements and narrow stairs, with an enemy ahead and a health bar in the corner. Reportedly fully 3D and playable in third person.
-
08 3D
A pickup truck that unfolds into a giant robot
In a Three.js desert, a steel truck drives and kicks up dust. Flip the toggle and it stands up as a walking robot, then folds back into a truck. Reportedly animated by Opus 5.5.
-
09 Game
A complete kart racer from one prompt
Turbo Kart Rally brings a title screen, character select, three-lap races against a field of rivals, power-ups and a live position readout. Reportedly the output of a single prompt.
-
10 Animation
The model tells its own story in ink
Black brush strokes on cream paper: a blank page on day zero, endless library shelves, rounds of learning and fixing, a whole city, then a burst of ink. Reportedly every frame is JavaScript brush work, with no video model and no images.
-
11 Game
Swing across a city built from nothing
A web-slinging game in Three.js: swing down the avenues, run up glass towers, land on rooftops and follow the minimap to the next crime. Reportedly every 3D model, texture and animation came from Opus 5.5.
-
12 Short film
A tile mosaic that comes alive, in one HTML file
Square tiles form a seaside scene of a fish, birds, a sun and a sailboat on waves. They tilt and shift to animate it, flip into a night sky with a white bird, then scatter and settle back. Reportedly the whole film is one HTML file.
-
13 Game
A 3D speed-hill run with loops and rings
Speed Hill Zone packs springs, dash pads, loops, rings to grab and enemies to bounce on, and ends with a tally of time and ring bonuses. Reportedly a Sonic-style 3D game made by Opus 5.5.
-
14 Animation
A pixel wizard conjured from pure code
A bearded wizard in a red robe stands on a castle wall under a full moon and raises his staff to send sparks into the night. Reportedly brought to life with nothing but code.
-
15 3D
From pencil sketch to finished house
Architect's Model grows a courtyard house through four stages: line sketch, massing model, detailed model, and a furnished home with a pool at dusk. Scrub between stages and orbit around it. Reportedly built in Three.js.
-
16 3D animation
One prompt turned Blender into a clay studio
Asked for a 20-second stop-motion film starring the Claude logo, the model built a clay set with a wooden desk, books, a pencil cup and soft bokeh lights, then animated a clay ball sprouting into the starburst. Reportedly Opus 5.5 working in Blender.
